Erik & Elfrida – Our Pantone 2016 Wedding
Often, fall weddings evoke the familiar colors of an autumnal palate. While these classic colors are truly beautiful, we believe a break from tradition can be refreshing, and set you on your way to forging your own pretty wedding palette; which is why we adore the non-traditional colors of Erik and Elfrida’s October 2016 wedding.
Elfrida used her creativity and savvy for fashion to breeze over the traditional brown-gold-rust color choices, and instead chose a soft, romantic palette inspired by the 2016 Pantone’s colors of Rose Quartz and Serenity. These Pantone colors are a perfect complement to the groomsmen’s contrasting dark attire and the sweeping lines and exquisite lace of Elfrida’s dress. The floral arrangements enhance the beauty of the historic venue, and are also decked out in beautiful tones of Rose Quartz and Serenity. A clean minimalistic look throughout draws the eye into each stunning detail. A fun note: Elfrida took calligraphy lessons so she can DIY all the signage – we think she did an AMAZING job! We also love the fabulous paper flower backdrop displayed at the reception.
Thank you to Andrea Pesce Photography for capturing this fabulous wedding and to professional planner Kat Schmoyer of Dear Sweetheart Events for beautifully coordinating the day. Here’s to a wonderful close to 2016 and our Pantone wedding of the year!
